       Martin W. King  Chaired Professor of Medical Textiles, Donghua University

       During his 40 years of research in Canada, UK, France, China and the USA, Martin King has worked at the intersection of textile engineering, fiber and polymer science, biomaterials and the design and evaluation of implantable medical devices.With this interdisciplinary approach to research, Martin King has created the term biotextiles to refer to textiles that are designed to function in a biological, medical or healthcare environment.
