主讲人简介：

Susan Taber Avila is an artist and Professor of Design at the University of California, Davis. She has exhibited work in Argentina, Canada, China, CostaRica, Finland, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Mexico, Spain, Swaziland, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, and Uruguay as well as numerous exhibitions in the United States. Herartwork is included in several books and periodicals including Textiles. The Art of Mankind and Artistry in Fiber (all three volumes).She has published articles in Fiberarts,Ornament, Surface Design Journal, and Textil Forum. From 1999-2010 she was the co-creator of the now defunct website, FiberScene.com. She received her MFA in Textile Arts and CostumeDesign from UC Davis, a Postgraduate Diploma in Textile Art from Gold smiths College, University of London and her B.A. in Design from UCLA. From 2010-2015 she was a Sunshine Scholar, then Chutian Scholar at Wuhan Textile University in Wuhan, China.
